the paths we follow are almost always the paths we choose Yes I "chose" the path I followed. For the first time in the short history of my son being a schoolager he showed interest in doing something above and beyond just 'getting by" It is my job to foster that interest and help it grow. Yes it was stressful and I could have said too bad, so sad. But enthusiasm about learning should be encouraged.... even though I wanted to wring his neck for the stress it created...
