God bless the wankers at MD. For without their spite and bitterness, it would be more difficult to see the real kindness and sweetness that shines from the few and far between.
Without their need to knock down others in order to make themselves feel better, whether loudly or in insidious and snarky whispers, it would be more difficult to see the supportive spirits that quietly go out of their way to provide encouragement.
Without their oft-blatant hypocrisy, honesty would have no proper backdrop against which to stand.
As white needs black and black needs white in order for each to be seen, so too does a dating site like MD need its full complement of sour-pusses and whiners in order for those who are happy with their life to share their positive nature.
This Earth-bound existence is one of duality striving for balance. And this snippet of a microcosm that is MD is no different - in every corner can be found ugliness of spirit juxtaposed with that of beauty.
So I say god bless the wankers. For those who have eyes to see, each one of them oh-so-aptly, whether deliberately or unconsciously, demonstrates the lesson of how to remain single and miserable.
They do, of course, make it difficult to wade through Blogland. But for the persevering, the real blogs and their writers become just that much more precious.

I do of course have eyes to see.
I use these eyes to see.
BUT in my eyes, as white needs black I see a lot of $hite - so I use my eyes to see effectively. In these effects I can see and do fully appreciate the persevering.
