I came home early today. I went to flop on the couch and got burned by my tv remote. It was laying on the couch. I'd dropped it on the floor last night, the back had come off and batteries had come out.. it's happened before and might happen again (except I've put some tape on it) I thought I had it back together and tossed it onto the couch (from now on it's going onto a metal tray. After I jumped up and away from it I saw that... one of the wires coiled on the batteries must have touched both of them... it was all but smoldering.
I had NO CLUE that could happen... Could have been one sad ending!

My condolences to you during this challenging time in your life. Know that your remote will now live in peace and will not have to be subjected to fondeling it had to deal with whether it was in the mood or not.
your so funny, and this was a fun read...
