I have been emailing with someone and he inspired some of my best thoughts and responses. I will not post anything of anyone elses but I will share my thoughts. So, what is the meaning of life to you? What is important to you (me)? Someone was writing to me about truth.
To me, life is an illusion. I believe in reincarnation, quantum fields and creating my own life with my thoughts, intentions, beliefs and emotions. This can be a big pile of crap if you are creating with fearful, hateful, angry thoughts or revenge etc. Know what I mean?
If you are creating with darker beliefs and thoughts/emotions, then you can create a very painful, degrading, humiliating life. Yes, you. YOU create your life in MY belief system. People blame it on other people, they blame it on God, the world, the economy and all that bullsht. I USED to believe all those things caused my misery. When I was educated to believe differently, well dang! I started creating from powerful loving energies, beliefs and thoughts. Well Dang! Good stuff started happening! Well, dang! Must be something to it then.
So, most likely someone will pipe up and say, aw your full of bull. That's only a belief. BUT! In MY belief system, if you really beLIEVE in your beliefs, you create what you believe.
So, if you believe that everyone is out to get you, well DANG! The quantum field will RUSHHHHH to meet you and create that for you. So, please, stay away from me. Because I REALLY do NOT want to share your life. Ewwwwwwwwww. My beliefs are so much more fun and creative than that. Please, I try to keep my beliefs as creative and loving as possible and I have such great results most of the time.
Til I start believing negative stuff. Then...BANG!!!! The quantum field runs right out there to create that for me. Boy, my creations are very fast so I really have to be careful not to whine too much or POW! I get just what I am whining about.
Truth...what is it? To me, well, as far as truth is concerned, anything you wish to believe will work. Everything is an illusion. We create our lives with our thoughts and beliefs. I do not really care what the truth is. Because the 'truth' is different for each person. Until we leave the planet. Then all the other rules will kick in.
What is accurate? Well, hell! That is just as bad. Accurate today may change tomorrow. How many times have I read scientists/doctors proved this or that was impossible and now today they are saying that just ain't so anymore. Accurate? Forget it. That is as fragile as truth. Accurate information. Hm. Wait til tomorrow and it may change. So I cannot hold to truth and accuracy as being important to me.
What is important to me? I had all the answers when Spirit created me and let me loose in the Trees of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden or what I call the Spiritual Realms. I just forgot them when I incarnated. I will remember when I go back. What I do here (on this planet) is learn to create. That is basically all I am here for.
So, am I creating from baser emotions or higher vibration ones? Am I choosing the higher road or the lower road? Do they both get where I am going? What do I learn along the way? What do I get out of what I learned? Does it benefit me? Have I accomplished my goals? How do I feel about the things I have done? Do I regret decisions I have made? Can I learn to make better decisions? Am I happy within? If I am, can I manifest it outside of me?
Can I ask the universe for something and get it? (Yes) And how fast? If I don't get it, how do I react? Can I control my emotional reactions? Do I allow emotions to control me? Do I forgive myself when I react poorly? Do I forgive others? Do others forgive me? Do I care what others think about me if I am happy and doing good in my life? (Usually no)
These are things important to me. Truth is not. Honesty is. Responsibility is. Creating with loving energy is. Awareness is, neutrality is, consciousness is. Do I/you judge? Do I/you accept? Do I/you allow? These also are important to me. Do I/you work on our crap or do we revel in it and hug it to us, clutching it fearfully like it is important? Are we part of the problem or part of the solution? That is what is important to me.

Yes, I liked 'What the Bleep Do We Know' better. But I have been doing this since December 2000. I have had a spiritual practice since then.

I think this is an example of so-called New Age thinking...

Let us say - that in the spirit world, thought has power. That in that dimension, you can create things with thought. Therefore you can create anything you like to, there. Think of it like the Star Trek Next Generation's holodeck...
And so a person of a particular belief system, will at first create their vision of what the afterlife will look like for themselves. However it is not real, it is only imagined - a 'construct'. At first it will look fine - just what he or she expected - it is a complete world, and seemingly alive. But as time passes there - it will be seen for what it is - not real, but constructed for that person. The fascade will eventually be seen for what it is. And slowly the person will wake up to what is really there - and open to the world as it is.

Here in this world - we have our own perceptions of the world around us, and accept or reject certain views of this world. You do interpret things every day, and collectively over your lifetime, you will subscribe to certain views and thoughts.
But other people have their thoughts and interpretations too - and you will able to relate to those with similar views and thoughts. Sharing things in common.
And there will be other people you cannot relate to at all - because you do not 'know' them. You may not know their religion, nor their morals.
What is 'truth'? It is simply having a correct and understanding view.
This is not easy to do - because the information you are fed, may not be true or accurate. Why should the truth matter at all?
Because we all like to think that eventually truth will win out - that we are getting closer and closer to the 'truth' as world history moves on.
So that we can eventually attain a peaceful and harmonious society through
self awareness. Self aware - because then, you don't need rules and regulations (laws) etc. You will know what is right, and what isn't.

I don't think you can have the ' anything you can think of - can work for you, approach' - because you can have incorrect thoughts, which will result in incorrect actions. There has been self-proclaimed religious and otherwise leaders - who have led their followers into acts of self destruction, even suicide.
Sticking with the truth, will not lead you astray.

And I believe the world truths - are very simple. Why haven't they been acknowledged today?
Because it will take away the 'power' that certain institutions (religious and government) have. And we are fed false information, so that the insitution(s) gain their power from us - by taking ours away from us.
I hope you will understand what I am trying to say here?

And you know the truth, right? Everyone else is wrong and you are right. Correct? I honor your beliefs but I prefer mine. So much less judgmental and so much less ego attached. To me, nothing is wrong. Everything is right at this time. Good to know what your beliefs are. And how life and everyone else rates to you. I will have to pass tho.

hmmm...want a Truth?...".we're all fulla bullsht...and then we die"...another one..."all beliefs are manmade...as are our Gods"...okay, I know...too obscure for most to want to accept...here's one last one I'll toss out: "Sometime, something is going to happen somewhere"...
Truths are easy to find...it's the proving of any of them that gets tricky,... however, I've found, through years of personal study, that the 3 I've written here are "more true" than first meets the eye..(or "brain") if you really stop and think about it...especially that last one...lol...

Truths are not Important to this ol' dog...but "spirit" is...for it is only with the heart that one sees "rightly"...what is essential is always invisible to the eye...no matter what, or whom, yer looking at.

The only way to prove the art of positive thinking is to practice it. A little example at the weekend, the power went here and I soon realised it was isolated to my flat. It was late so after I'd investigated the fusebox and realised it wasn't simply a fuse. It crossed my mind more than one electrician had told me the system wasn't unsafe but it could pack up at any time resulting in an expensive job. My daughter and I went to bed and I told her "just think positive and it will all be fine". As I fell asleep I put any ideas of not being able to afford to have the system fixed out of my head and saw us going about our day in the normal way, electricity working just fine. Of course in the morning it still wasn't working, I didn't expect a miracle. However, we managed to track down a local electrician who arrived very quickly, found the problem equally quickly and charged £10 for coming out. During the same weekend I'd been trying to convince a new friend he needed to be more positive. He agreed in general but still continued to act and speak in a negative way. There's more to his problems in life but having more money would really help. We spent an evening together which cost a lot less than he'd intended and we had a great time. There was no need for him to spend anything the next evening because I invited him to a party but he turned the invitation down. Instead he went to London in the hope of meeting up with some friends. The friends never materialised, he didn't want to go home and ended up staying in a hotel, having something to eat, a few drinks and a movie and went home £200 short. He'd booked holiday for the next 3 days and had stayed up really late the whole weekend. Worked called Sunday telling him he'd have to come in after all as they were short of staff. His words on the phone to me were "just my luck". Later that day he was driving to the supermarket and ran over a lump of concrete. The result was £200 worth of damage.... which he could have well afforded if he'd come to the party with me and given the hotel a miss. On some level I think he felt guilty about staying in the hotel and the accident with the car was the resulting punishment. Not surprisingly his words to me were "I think I'm jinxed". I expect some would read this and say the two situations are just things that happen to people but I think it's interesting how the two compare. I have seen too many examples of the power of thinking, both positive and negative, to know it works. So why think shit for yourself when you can think sugar?

I don't think you can have the ' anything you can think of - can work for you, approach' - because you can have incorrect thoughts, which will result in incorrect actions.

No such thing as an incorrect thought in my view. Thoughts are thoughts. Some want one thing and some want another thing. It's not good, it's not bad, it just IS.

You got that 'right'! You go, girl! To me, everything is good. Even that which appears to be bad has SOME good to it. Sometimes the hardest part is figuring out how the bad actually benefitted you. But! It's ALL good! I learn from everything and I value my education, highly.
