I have watched a fair amount of documentaries concerning who was really behind the 9-11 tragedy.
Dr David Ray Griffin gives the best summary of the impossible events that happened on that day - which shows the events themself were very very strange indeed.
In brief...
3 of 4 planes hit their targets. How could this have happened.
Is the US military that incompetent???
And the 4th plane failed, because of civilian intervention - and not by the
military?
Billions are spent on the military and NORAD each year - and the explanation, that because the transponders were turned off, allowed the planes to hit their targets - is inadequate.
Otherwise drug smugglers would simply follow suite - and flood the USA with ridiculous amounts of drugs into the country.
Also consider the Pentagon strike. It so happened, that the strike occured on the only part of the building which was recently fortified. Had it hit the normal weakened areas of the building, the damage would have been much more severe.
Was it a piece of enormous luck - that this happened?
Also the flight path of the trajectory, is almost impossible for a large jetliner to follow, let alone an inexperienced amateur pilot at the controls.
There is the suggestion that it wasn't even the suggested plane that struck the Pentagon, but a much smaller plane - or even a missile?
There are many other very strange things about 9-11 too...
What I am saying here - is that the 'truth' is probably far stranger than we can ever imagine it to be...

It is obvious you forget one thing that the US Military including the Air Force charter was to protect this country from harm externally. The USA had no Federal Defense force internally until after 9 - 11 which is The Homeland Defense Department.
The Defense Department and Civilian Radars were not linked into a common command and control until after 9 - 11.
Our so called Air Defense System of Aircraft was comprised of the Air National Guard units who were tasked in intercepting aircraft before they entered USA airspace.
Those who created 9 - 11 simply exploited this weakness. But 2 years prior to 9 - 11 there was a debate amongst the civilian and military elite [including Collin Powell] that asked the question...What are we to do if within America an attack takes place or extreme riots occur because the Constitution forbids the use of Federal military resources within other than as support for extreme natural occurring disasters.
So yes the military has long been concerned from attacks within but that was the task of the National Guard controlled by the Governor's unless the President Nationalized the Guard for external use or as support for national disasters..
Why do you think the President borrowed National Guard troops for the border because the President before Homeland Security hands were tied by the Constitution. That restriction still applies on Federal use of the National Guard within the Constitution has not changed.
Radar is limited by line of sight and if one flies an aircraft below a Radars line of sight then they can only guesstimate where it is in the air from the latest sighting.
Now of course we have interlocking command and control before 9 - 11we did not and the chances of attack by commercial aircraft is slim the real danger lies from small privately owned aircraft that can easily fly below radar. As yet there is no solution for that problem.

I will explain it for you.
First, even if the US knew about the first plane, they wouldn't have shot it down with a plane full of people, that kind of decision takes major time. That was the major problem in the plane that hit the towers, see, they were smart, the took over a long route plane heading to LA and circle it right back to the towers.
Now,imagine if your the president, you have to gather so much data, then develop a plan and also figure out the collateral damage by your decision.
Onto the pentagon one, that is by far the most question one because the white house area is always on alert, but this is what most likely happen, while concentrating so hard on what to do about the aftermath of what happen to the towers, meaning this, again imagine organizing all the people and equipment needed for the towers situation.
Now, by this time, that plane was already within striking distance by the time they figure what plane that one was and it would explain why an amateur pilot would missed the objective target. Meaning, hitting the newly fortified section,instead of a more vulnerable spot of it.
Now, I do believe we could have shot down the the 4th plane, because by that time, we knew what the others have done and more importantly it was over an unpopulated area.
