"Stay" by Sugarland. This video gets me to every time. You have to watch the whole video to see the emotions on her face. I can relate to her anguish, though the circumstances in the lyrics are a little different, as I'm sure a lot of you can. I guess I would replace "she" with Canada or the military.

yes i have to agree .if you read the cd cover...she wrote this one by herself......unlike some of the others which she co-wrote.......you can tell she lived this song......or is the best actress.........on the planet........

Yes, yes.. a touching melody. what you may not know is that these videos are, take after take, after take, until they get it right ( 20-50 takes is being nice) bye the time they were satisfied, I would have been emotional too (very).

............I SO know this feeling from a wife's perspective and no matter how you look at it there is NO easy answer..........and some men just like having their cake and eating to. Sad, how or why does one stray knowing they are already in a committed relationship? WHY? and I dont care if it is to just have some fun and I am sure we have all been lied to ladies at one point or another and that is NOT our fault it is teh mans fault. And NO matter what.......ughhh...I cant even get into this...m'zing......doesnt enyone ever THINK that the person being betrayed is going to fall for the betrayee.............or how about when then one betraying falls for his victim....how about that.......ARGGGGGGGGG

This lady has a beautiful expressive voice, and yes, she has very good facial expressions when she sings the song. She, however, appears to have a wedding ring on her left hand. This changed the whole perspective of how I viewed the song. She is a good performer and (maybe) a good actress. I get the point of your blog, though.

I've recently became "obsessed" with this song. Listening to it multiple times a day. I can totally relate to Jennifer Nettles words, and experience. It's rough, and it hurts, but she got through it, and the world can too. I'm so glad she decided to share her story with the world. I feel for her. It's an amazing video.
The guitar player is the other member of her band. His name is Kristian Bush.
