You know I'm a dreamer But my heart's of gold I had to run away high So I wouldn't come home low Just when things went right Doesn't mean they're always wrong Just take this song and you'll never feel Left all alone
Take me to your heart feel me in your bones Just one more night And I'm comin' off this Long & winding road
I'm on my way I'm on my way Home sweet home Tonight tonight I'm on my way I'm on my way Home sweet home "Home Sweet Home," Motley Crue
Yes, I’m home again. It took several days of rest & relaxation to catch up on my sleep & feel decent again. Yes, it was a wonderful trip.
Several people have inquired about where I went & who I met. Let’s just suffice it to say I met some wonderful friends.
I will mention a very nice lady in eastern Tennessee that I’ve been acquainted with on line for several years, Debra. What an awesome gal….she made me feel very welcomed in her home. She’s every bit as nice in person as she is on line….easy to talk with, fun to be around & an awesome host. She has a great family, whom I met, as well. I so appreciate the warmness they all shared with me.
I also met & visited for the biggest part of my trip with a very good friend by the name of Mary. I met Mary online here, too. She’s one of very few people I’ve met online that I felt an instant kinship to. I cannot say enough about Mary’s hospitality & friendship. Everyone should have a “Mary” in their world! She kept me entertained for a week…great sightseeing, awesome friends & family….good eats…a nice warm, cozy bed….you name it! Yes, she gave me all of the comforts of home. I had an absolutely awesome time during my stay with her.
My return trip brought a meeting with another very dear friend in eastern Tennessee. It was a long time in coming. And it was all I ever thought it would be. With any luck we will meet again soon. ‘Nuff said!
I thank you all for your thoughts, prayers & good wishes while I was on my little journey. I have some of the most wonderful friends in the world…here on MD and in “real life,” too. And as wonderful as it was to visit with the folks I visited with on the road, still yet, there is no place like home.
Here’s to happy days for each & every one of you as we go forward into the holiday season. Happy blogging, too!!!!
