Because I am a free member here at MD, I cannot post timely photos or obnoxiously cute animated bits to illustrate my blogs. I know I could write something; wait for photo approval, then post the blog and announce that there were accompanying photos – but that’s generally not in me. When I feel like writing, I write; when I have new photographs, I post ‘em.. If these efforts are ever coordinated, it’s probably a coincidence.

Yesterday I finally got around to dumping 123 photographs from my little Panasonic camera into my computer. I’ve been paranoid about doing this as most of my photographs were lost when I had to have my software re-installed a few weeks ago. If I had kept them in the camera, well, I’d still have them... or if I had copied them to CD... or... You get the picture (no pun intended). I’m not very computer savvy. So for several hours last night, I played around with photos, deleting some and trying to organize them (a lost cause) and I posted a few that match up with two fairly recent blogs:

http://www.matchdoctor.com/blog_67635/High_jinx.html
http://www.matchdoctor.com/blog_70912/Ride_the_horse_not_the_saddle.html

So if you’re the kind of person who likes pictures with your stories, you can finally see what I’ve been talking about. That little step-stool thing (?)... The one you can see up on top of the scaffolding (?) That’s the one that dumped me. You can why it was a very good thing it didn’t happen while we were up top.

There’s also a photograph of one of the new horses. Babygirl had posed nicely while Bogo and Rita (as in Lovely Rita or as in Rita Hayworth) the red roan clomped about with their ears back, trying to kick one another and being generally uncoopertive. Bogo was covered in mud as well, so I skipped them for another day (today).

Right now they reside within the camera, waiting for me to be in the mood to tackle another photo session with my computer, and once again, my blogging is ahead of my illustration... What do you expect from an artist?

Redtiger, I keep all my photos and writing on UCB ports. They come in 512 to 2 GB and are fairly in expensive. I carry them with me as they are only about 1/2 by 3 inches long. That way if you crash you do not lose your work...Now I'm going to look at your photos.

What do you expect from an artist?

And what an awesome, MULTI-TALENTED artist you are!!!!

I lost a lot of pics. Burnt them to disc. The disc is worn or scratched now. The original pc caught fire and melted lol
You might not be good with pcs yet but wait until you've earned the nickname of 'computer assassin' like me!
I've bought an external hard drive now. Real easy to use, plug into usb port and takes seconds to bung things from pc hard drive onto it. Mines a monster of a thing for films etc but you can get small ones for pennies/cents that will be great for photos.
I'm thinking it must be safer than disc.

I love your pics. Absolutely awesome.

You're a braver gal than me for climbing up the step ladder on that platform!
You be careful gf! We sure would miss your blogs and pics.

ahhhhh lady... you daredevil, you!!! I was on a scaffolding like that only once to help my son..climbing up was easy, and this is no word of lie, it took me over 40 minutes to inch down! What a brave lady you truly are!

And your artwork... described by one word awesomefrikkenfantabluousspecially beautiful!!!

But, and you know I gotta be the one, those fine specimen of unbridled (and how fitting is that) muscle and tender hearts (the horses for those of you not luvinghorses like me) are the ones I drooled ovah..... (wiping the drool as I type)...

Beautiful, absolfrikkenlootely!
