OK...I'm confused, or refuse to understand. What is Elite Blogging? What is a Troll? I understand what a "blog" is and yada.yada...
I have my favorite bloggers. Some of them are frequent bloggers, and are great writers! Some are my favorites because they make me laugh!!   big time!! I pick and choose...Everyday is different! demending on my mood!

A troll is a large, silicon based creature from Norse mythology.
The term has been misused by many on this site.
Once the term "troll" referred to people that "trolled" (like fishing) forums and blogs seeking to sow discord or dissention among the readers.
Now, it's used by everyone for everything.
If I were a "real" troll, I'd get my rock-covered rear-end to the nearest lawyer and start litigating.

I'm not even going to touch that! But I'm here to say their are NO Elite bloggers, only those that think of themselves that way.. I like to make people laugh, and sometimes I write about my life which in itself is funny! Nice to see ya...Blogging....

Some folks just love to label everything thing in life, for whatever reason..
Sad, but true, we are all people on this planet, maybe some day, the labels will disappear!!!! Now wouldn't that be NICE !!!!!

nobody here has said or implied anything about elite bloggers, except the ones who felt threatened when someone referred to someone else as a good writer.
so that means, if someone were to say, Illusion, I really enjoyed your blog, and I think you are a great writer, someone else will get all upset, because that would make you an elite writer.
see how this works?

If you admit to being a troll...you aren't one. Sky was dead on. People who respond to the content of a blog are not trolls. Trolls are those that attack the blogger and as Sky said....usually jealous of someone else's attention.
I am an elite blogger, however. just kidding.

MAY I add..I believe..bloggers from Michigan and Massachusetts are the BEST bloggers ever..JMO

To me, a Troll is someone who doesn't have a nice word to say about anything or anyone and is constantly putting people down for no good reason. I'm sorry, I think there are a few Trolls who comment on blogs. I've definitely got one who does so on a regular basis. Perhaps we all have our own definition of a Troll. As for the Elite Bloggers...... well, to me they are the ones who tell the rest of us what and how to blog. I'm ashamed to say, I was drawn by this crowd once but I've been de-brainwashed and I've now returned to my original live and let live self. I'm sure there's people out there right now saying Angel603 doesn't know what the f*** she's talking about but they're just Trolls & Elite Bloggers so what do I care!!!!

You just have to look / read around the site, it will all either, fall into place ; or it will fall on your head. Who's who at the zoo is isn't to difficult to surmise.
Just have some fun, but wear your hard hat and don't have thin skin.
All blogers are created equal, (some just think their a little more equal than others).

Troll was originally used in the Yahell ( yahoo) halls about those creatures that scan the directory to see who was online then they would send you an IM....POP gopes the little window with some unknown going...ASL?????
UGH!
Elite? No better is better then even if they think they are.............There are really "talented " writers here and then there are just us average bloggers..NO ELITES!

To tell the truth, I've never ONCE observed anyone who I (personally) feel might be an "elite blogger" EVER refer to themselves as such. That phrase came up in the title of a blog last week but so much hell broke loose that I can't recall, at all, the gist of the original blog.
I happen to have a personal list (both in my "favorites" and in my head) of certain writers who I ALWAYS read whenever they blog. Some are great writers, able to convey pictures and emotions with either a few words or an entire page...consistantly. Some maybe be so-so grammatically/technically, but they're able to express themselves nonetheless and often present a range of provoking thoughts.
The only thing "elite" about these bloggers is MY perception of how they come across to ME. It just happens that many of them also happen to be the same ones a lot of other people who enjoy reading original material and 'wordsmithing' tend to appreciate, also.
Drop the word "elite" and you get "bloggers". "Bloggers" write blogs, a stand alone piece of writing that says what it wants to say as is, without the necessity of discussion or "chat" to give it substance.
Now "trolls"  ...trolls are consistant, too, in their own way. Their sole intent is to cause disruption and dissent wherever they post. "Professional troublemakers", lol. And they stink. 
A lot of people think that bullies and those with conflicting views are "trolls". Nah, bullies are just ordinary jerks who feel the need to control and demean sometimes, usually directed toward individuals (not toward everyone). Troll-ish behavior, but not necessairily trolls.
And people with conflicting views are just that: not all choose to use the "bully" method to get their point across. It's generally bullies who cause the most problems for a site...just like they did on the playground earlier in their lives.
Oh, and a "kudo"...an annonymous thumbs up , that's all. It doesn't mean a thing (except to the overly competitive )
