The flannel sheets are freshly laundered and on the bed, along with a clean thick cotton blanket and a light weight old comfy quilt I just pulled out of the dryer, still warm and smelling so good. It's not yet cold enough to switch over to the heavy winter quilt, summer seems to still have a slight hold here so that one still works nicely. I've showered and scrubbed off all the dirt and grime of a long day's work out in the yard; my hair is braided up, I'm in my cozy fleece robe and I'm ready for that comfy king-sized bed to take me away..... too bad it's only 7:20 pm....I think I'm going to make some hot chocolate and find a good book to curl up with...
