Amen. Thankfullness is what it is all about . Too bad ppl loose that.
As for knowing where to go? I make sure I know who is coming way ahead of time.

Thanks a very nice blog, although this year I'm feeling a little distant when it comes to my family. In all honesty, I'm at the point where I just want to be alone. Just my son and I, maybe a few friends.... but of course the family's got their own plans and we are going too! I can't stand both sides, but this holiday and Christmas will be the only times this year we see everyone.. just like every year (the only two times when we really gather). The family has kind of grown apart.... But this is a good blog! Very well put!

very nice blog....has had about 5 offers .....but thinks i will stay home in my jammies and watch the parade and roast a duck all for me~..will call everyone of course and wish them a great Thanksgiving and ask them what they are thankful for......for me...am thankful for a roof over my head, a great new job, my children and my friends......

I have offers also but I'm thinking that going fishing and spending some time away and alone is just what I need. My kids will be busy at moms so I either go fishing or stay home and work around here .

I'm not so sure but what "alone" might not be better than the stress I will have to endure with my family Thursday. I truly dread it. I had a nice Thanksgiving dinner among good, close friends, Saturday at our clubs square dance. That was my Thanksgiving, that and the one at church. For those, I am TRULY, thankful. Thursday will be something I have to try to get through while keeping my sanity.
