Excellent reminder Maggie ..... and let me say that it does work. The 2nd time I was in Walter Reed I got several such cards through the holidays along with a few little care packages. I remember one in particular, from a little girl in Iowa that baked cookies and sent three ... yes they were stale and probably the worst I ever tasted, but you know, the little picture of her that came with the box was priceless, I only wish there had been a return address so I could have sent her a proper thankyou card .... soldiers get forgotten at times so I'm headed out now to pick up a box of cards and some "stuff" to put in there too! ..... great, great, great reminder!
