Sometimes I sit and wonder:
If I’m the only one that feels the way I do about what life means
If life is constantly testing my heart and my spirit
If one day I will have all the answers to questions that burn within my mind
If I have made more mistakes than I can account for…if I have learned from those mistakes
If being physically abused as a child gave me my willingness to fight for what I want….or
If it made me unable to truly believe that love is life lasting
If it made me doubt myself and those that say “I love you”…
If it made me the loving, supportive, gentle mother that I am to my miracles..my children
If I had not pushed myself to open up and attempt to meet people online
If God knew I needed people who would become my friends for life
If they know that I will be there for them…always..till my last breath
If these friends know how they have given me new spirit and a new feeling of exhilaration
If they know how I sit and just smile to myself when I think of them…and I think..geesh I’m a dork…LOL
If true friendship is a gift that we are given…cannot be demanded or abused…but cherished
If my 49 years were just a prelude to what I have to look forward to in the next 49
If all the negatives have equaled a positive….my outlook on life
If I have allowed myself to smile through tough times and laugh at myself through my many blonde moments
If because of all of my experiences and the people that I’ve met….I am ready to face the next stage of my life
If I’m ready to give, receive, trust, commit, compromise, understand, laugh, cry, smile and forgive
If I sit and wonder too much..about what if….if only….if I’d have known…if life would have…if life will....if………

Amazing how ALL the things we go through in life, help to make us who we are today...whether they are good or bad. And though we'd like to go back and change some things ...and we wonder all those ' what if's'... we can rest assured that all things work together for good to those who love Him.... yesterday, today and tomorrow.

You couldn't have said it better, all those "if's" are just stepping stones to something more that is in store for us to experience. Even though we don't understand all those trials and tribulations it makes us who we are, and I am glad we have come across each others paths here on MD
