It's that time of the year when Chia Pets hit the stores. They only show up this season. I guess they do well this time of the year? So, what do you do with a Chia Pet after the season? Do they continue to grow after the Holiday Season? I never bought a Chia Pet. Someone must purchase these pets to bring them back every Holiday Season!

I had the pleasure of receiving a Chia Pet one year. They do last a long time. Just check the water every once in a while........I thought everyone in the world owned one of theses at one time or another.

I've never owned a Chia Pet.
And now that I think about it, I've never known anyone who owned a Chia Pet.
Hmmmm...or maybe they just wouldn't admit to owning one.
And with that said, if I've never known anyone in my 48 years that owned one, who IS buying those things????

Angel, it's a clay pot molded to look like some kind of animal, usually. I've seen heads, including Mr. T (I foolishly gave that one up at a white elephant gift exchange. It's now worth some money since Mr. T sued them!). There are seeds for some unknown plant inside. You water it, and the plant grows giving the pot a "coat" of fur, or hair, or whatever.

Here's a photo.
