I'm kinda stumped, I have most of my Christmas shopping done except for those hard to shop for folks that I just don't know what to get.
Now I make my own beer so I thought a couple of bottles of that might be a nice gift but my last batch is kind of an aquired taste. It's a very dark beer that has as one ingredient coffee so it's pretty potent stuff even though it's been aging in the fridge for over a year and has mellowed quite nicely.
The other idea is to go to a specialty store and find something in a nice brew there.
A lager, a pilsner, pale ale, what's good for a one year old?

sounds like a good plan.

A couple of years ago I gave my brother an hour. *smiles* He travels alot for his business, his girlfriend lives 3 hrs form his house. His holidas are always booked solid with this party and that function. So I made him slot me in one evening a couple of nights before Christmas eve. A late evening appointment. LOL....He had one more party to hit before the night was done....So when He got there I had some of moms favorite finger foods put together that we had grown up with and a fresh pot of really good coffee. We sat down at the kitdchen table, and picked at stuff. I asked him if he wanted his Cristmas present and of course he said sure. So I said you are getting it....1 hr of sit back at home, feel comfortable, don't have to be anywhere, time. He stayed an extra hour and we had the best visit we had in years. When he left he had taken a deep breath and was ready to face his next couple f days of running. I love my brother he is great guy, it was nice to see him relax for a moment in time.

It depends on how much money and effort you want to put into it. No big expensive gifts or not even your beer. They will expect that and usually get it free from you any way.Just look your friends over and see how they dress. apair of hunting gloves, dress gloves scarff, pocket knive, or even that hunting tee shirt. Get something they will use. For the women--Cologne, scarff, house shoes, and for that special lady a goo night gown. And do not say you can not go into a woman's department and purchase clothes--the same ones that you help take off in that time of need.

So be a dam man.

Some people do not like others' homemade brew. Buy them a bottle.

One year I got a brother in law a gift set of BBQ tools and marinades. He loved it so much he wants a batch of marinades which I made from recipes this year. His favorite was the Jack Daniels one.... go figure!
