It would take far more gullability and a far greater leap of faith to believe that one poor Jewish man in an oppressed country, with very few rights under the law, could pull that off than it would take to believe that one poor Jewish man was the son of God and lead by holy spirit to fulfill the prophecies that were made about him long before his birth.
Because one way explains how it happened that a city was destroyed, just as the prophet said it would be long before the birth of Jesus, a while after the death of Jesus. It says that yes, someone did orchestrate these Events and for a purpose: part of which was to establish his good name.
But it wasn't Jesus!
The other way, there is no explanation at all of how that piece of the prophecy was fulfilled. And that, too, is just one of many that were fulfilled by the one man which, were he not the son of God, require further explanation.
There, then, are some facts for you. I hope should anyone seek to dispute them they will likewise take the time to do their own research into biblical and secular histories and make their arguments based on some degree of fact. Though I certainly have not written this in the hopes of the facts being disputed: that they be read and considered would be reason to smile.
