I am intrigued by words. Even my ID will tell you that. I look through profiles name-first. I am attracted by the midnights, misty roses, sweet hyacinths, golden glows, starlights, dreamweaver and so many other type names. I look for the romantic ones and after reading the profile, try to decide if "she" is really romantic or if it is just a fake name she travels under . Or is she so romantic she does not live a practical existence? One must have balance. It is ok to live in the clouds for moments in time but for the basis of one's life it is vital to keep at least one foot on the ground at least part of the time. Or at least I keep telling myself that.

I agree with you, however, one must have balance in order to thrive and give the love they romantically think about.

I am also intrigued by the choice of a word or ID that a person uses to describe himself or herself. I believe it tells a lot about the person and gives an accurate true first impression of what makes that person "tick." It is like a mini blue print of sorts.
Yes, I think that a person needs to at least have one foot firmly on the ground. I have one foot on the ground as a part of my life's "journey." Part of my idealistic nature is the "hawk." The "hawk" is also a symbol of strength and signifies a desire to always "look up," no matter what the current situation is that is going on in my life.

My late husband described me as *sweet*. I am truly a gypsy at heart .. a bit of a wanderer. Because I'm now pursuing a serious relationship with a man I met online, I didn't fill out my profile with enough info for someone new to determine if I might be a compatible match. It's rare (at least, it appeared so to me) that any man would actually read what my profile said at all. I love words too. When I had a 'searching for' oriented profile, I chose my words carefully. It was an accurate description of who I see myself to be and what I am looking for. My current profile is really just *for him*.... each word still carefully chosen, though...
