May the dreams you hold dearest, be those which come true....and the kindness you spread, keep returning to you.

Celtic Toasts

I think that pretty much says it all as far as the season is concerned. I doubt it matters very much at all as to just what you celebrate, or how you celebrate. Or even when you celebrate. It is all a matter of priority. What is important to you? Really important?

The content of those two seemingly quick toasts, spoken at a gathering of some sort, could easily be overlooked.

Don't let the media and society dictate your priorities. Don't let the constant barrage of commercials on your tube make you feel like you are less, because money is tight.

Remember......kids are being taught by those influences as well as you. If you buy into it, so will they. If you are feeling frustrated or less than happy, they will too.

The beautiful thing about it all is this.......we are alive. What an incredible gift. An amazing opportunity.
How to repay that one? Hmm.....can't. Except in the way we "spend" our time here. It's called humility. Respect. Regardless of what you believe. The power of life is real. Isn't that reason enough to live it well? Isn't that reason enough to be the best person you can be? To give back to "the power" that gave it to you by spending your time carefully , and with purpose?

We are blessed with many things, most of which aren't really things. But we so easily forget those things in favor of those "things."

Be creative this year. Give from your heart. Forget Walmart. Sears. etc. Forget the credit cards.
Use your heart to personalize a meaningful gift to someone you really do care about. It will make all the difference. To the giver, as well as the receiver. Which was the intent of celebrating in the first place.

What a wonderful little word......"Gift."
It even looks friendly.
From me to you.....with love. My heart is in this "package".......
I give it to you, to let you know in another way, just how much I appreciate you. It's a gift of love.
Love costs nothing.
