what do guys have against cancer victims
i posted an ad on craglist and posted my jaws picture and i get serveral emails accussing me of being a transvesite or a man
it not my fault my hair fell out and i look like crap.
but anyway men suck right now

OMG..I am so sorry..My daughter went through that too with the hair and she didn't care, she walked around bald and was just as beautiful!!!

Awwwwwww Nice--I understand completely. There are many times when men are jerks. But then along comes a really nice one and that gives us hope again.

I personaly dont have anything against it, I think its a shame that anyone has to deal with cancer,  , but I sure wouldnt kick you outa bed because you had a bald head,( hell look at me I'm bald) I would try to have fun with it   ,,,,,those guys who said negative things are just a$$holes

Whether it is a man or a woman, it is the mindset of the individual. Some minds are all mixed up and permanently set in cement. My dad went through 12 years of cancer, which included four exacerbations and remissions before it finally got him. After his first remission, he wanted to reverse his early retirement with the Post Office where he worked. They did not want him to go back. There were a lot of people there that thought if he worked there and they were around him, that they would get cancer too. They looked at it as a communicable disease.
I was an LPN for a few years. I took care of a sixteen year old who had some rare form of ovarian cancer. She wanted to go to some medical center in Texas to be a guinea pig for some kind of new treatment that was out. They told her "no" because her cancer was too far advanced. I spoke to her on different occasions. I mentioned to her that there were people who were afraid to even touch my dad because they were afraid of getting cancer. I will never ever forget what she said to me. She said "the next time you see your dad, tell him I know exactly how he feels." I was there the night she died. She was totally bald also. She looked like a little dead deer lying in that bed. It tore my guts out. The doctor even cried. It was a very sad day for us all. That young woman was wise beyond her years. In what little time I cared for her, she blessed me more than you could ever imagine!
People do thoughtless cruel things to others. I hope you will consider the "source" and not take it personally. It is NOT you... it is THEM! If someone is like that to you, they are very shallow in my opinion, and you don't need 'friends' like that! You need someone that will be very supportive of your needs. God will provide that person for you. Just pray and ask. It WILL happen.
Have a blessed New Year and keep a positive attitude. Attitude is EVERYTHING when you are dealing with cancer. It takes a positive attitude to kick it. Let a smile be your umbrella each day you are alive. Smiles are healing! My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

First of all, you don't look bad or like crap! Forget that thinking, cause really you look great, not bad. And lot's of gals have short hair. I had mine shorter than yours back Jan 05... just for the heck of it all.

I agree with misschoos.
Not all of us are like that.
If I were feeling frustrated and negative I could say something similar about women.
However I do know that not all women are looking for an ATM machine or
a few other things I wont go into. 
Try to brave the idiots, besides he was most likely a 19 year old kid.

Not all men are like that--not all women are like that either.
Most men will not have a rectial examination--even if it meant not catching cancwr in it's early stages.
My dear, posting on here does not mean you will be successful. I have been here about 2 to 3 years--met some good friends but not keepers.

Let me add a little twist to this. I had cancer. I have been cancer free since 1997. Why do SOME WOMEN have trouble with that. Answer: SMALL MINDED. The same thing goes for the men you refer to.

There are people who feel so bad about themselves they have to put other people down and belittle others just to make themselves feel superior. The fact is, they're losers and their opinions are worthless. Don't let a small person make you feel smaller. Few people know what personal strenth it takes to combat this horrible desease and keep living a normal life. You're indeed strong. And I think you're very attractive.
