I started to make a comment on someone's (poetry) blog a few minutes ago...
Then I thought better of it & decided to post this here where I felt more people could read and think about it…..
It's a shame when people can't let sleeping dogs lie...
It's a shame when people continue to beat a dead horse...
It’s a shame when people keep a chip in their shoulder…
It’s a shame when people keep burning bridges…
It’s a shame when people can’t let bygones be bygones…
It’s a shame when people keep rubbing salt in old wounds…
It’s just a shame. 
There are a gazillion more “idioms” in use, but each of these has special meaning with regards to numerous situations here in blogland.

you should be able to add a tag there, right at the bottom.

Well MissLiss, I've often had the same thoughts.
I saw the blog in question and chose not to say anything figuring it might
end the hostilities sooner probably a foolish thought
Yeah, it's a shame we can't let things go here or in the real world.
It's just that the behaviour is magnified in this little MD world.

Its a shame people insinuate something that doesn't exist.
Its a shame kindness is misconstrued as interest.
Its a shame to be embarrassed by bizarre behavior.
It's a shame to be called a liar when you were honest the whole time.
