What a truly incredible and crazy year in college football. After so many close calls and rising of the blood pressure, the season is finally over. LSU claimed a well-deserved BCS Championship last night. This team has never given up. It's only two losses in triple overtime to SEC opponents, both who played in bowl games. I knew the Tigers would play well after over a month off. They really needed to heal after a brutal SEC schedule. A healthy LSU team showed why the Southeastern Conference is truly the toughest conference to play in, week in and week out. The Big 10 conference, especially Ohio State, has proved once again that they can not play a weak non-conference schedule and play in a mediocre conference and expect to compete on the same level as the SEC.
Bowl Record:
SEC 7-2 Big Ten 3-5
The Big 10 went 1-2 this year against the SEC. Their one win came when Michigan beat Florida in a close one. A nice way for Lloyd Carr to go out.
I feel like she does.

Aside from the football talk, the Ohio State fans that came to our city were wonderful. Of course, there was trash talking on both sides, but LSU fans and Ohio State fans were cordial to each other and respected each other. All the comments that I've heard from the Buckeye faithful was that they really enjoyed New Orleans and loved the hospitality.
Let me just say to the Buckeye faithful, Georgia fans, Hawaii fans, and anyone else that visited our city for the recent events, THANK YOU!!! Our city has a long way to go in the recovery, but we're getting there. We really appreciate the much needed economic shot in the arm. We love being a host city and welcome everyone.
Long live New Orleans!!!
And of course......
GEAUX TIGERS!!! L - S - U!!!

Incredible performance from the Tigers last night. They did the SEC proud. I'm a Georgia 'Dawg but I love all the SEC teams in the post season. No other conference even comes close.

Painful as it is today I have to say.....
Good Win...the best team won, no doubt about it...
At least we showed up this time...not a bad season for a team that lost so much last year and so little was expected of this year....unfortunately my beloved Buckeyes just ran into a better team from a better conference that played their best game of the season...
