I am a christian. I know that I will get lots of grief for typing that but I do not care. I am not ashamed of it, infact, I am proud of it. Many people tell me that as a christian I act holier than thou and that I feel like I am better then non christians. I get told that because I am a christian that I judge other people who are not christian. If you want proof of this, all you have to do is look at the comments my other blogs have received from people who say I am the first one to judge others and this is usually followed by name calling like hypocrite or liar. Those are just some of the polite names among some the other nasty names I get called. Not only are the comments not flattering but you should see some of the emails I have received, they are 10 times worse. Does this bother me? No. I actually feel sorry for people who feel the need to put me or other people down with hatred just because their thoughts and morality are not in agreement with others. I will not put these people down, ever. I accept the fact that not everyone thinks like I do and I might tell them that they are not making sense to me or I do not understand them, but I will never judge them or be mean to them for disagreeing with me. I just find it interesting that the people who are putting me down for what they perceive as me judging people are they themselves so quick to judge me and tell me how they feel about me. Why do people feel the need to judge other people? Now I know not all people are out there judging everyone, but there are many who do and they do it with such hatred. Now, going back to the beginning where I mentioned that I am a christian, I say this to let you know that even though I may not agree with everything everyone stands for or accepts, I still love everyone and I will not judge them.

While some of those descriptions might be true, they aren't ALWAYS true. I think you're being too hard on yourself...Delusional is a more accurate description.

It's a great thing to be a Christian and you should be proud of it.
Yes, people can disagree with your views on take on things and that's ok too.
In life we all have to learn to agree to disagree.
Now, I did disagree with on your one blog, but I didn't send you one nasty e-mail or attack for being Christian.
One must be careful how one they write something, for an example, the words can't and can, will make a huge different in how people think what your trying to say as in would and wouldn't. Being a good communicator will leseen the confusion in most cases.

Your blog makes me think of many (not all) hippies in the 60s & 70s who looked down their nose at me for working in the corporate world and wearing a bra. I loved everyone in the Christian sense, but not in the same way many not all hippies love a lot (not all) people.
Conforming non-conformist I used to say.
People seem to feel important when they judge others. They are only as important as the amount of attention you allow them.
Now, JimBo, I read this blog through twice and did not see that this blog said people are "always" this way toward Christians. All comments are being automatically posted by this member; I guess I'm misunderstanding to whom you are referring when you call this person delusional. Becareful anyone who points a finger. There are always three pointing back at you. Why.... I'm sure I'll get my three right here in this blog. I wonder why members select which comments to post. (sarcasim)

It is a cruel world with alot of mean people in it. Justsayyeah, don't worry about it too much when people put you down and accuse you of what they are doing because they just have issues with themselves and are shifting it on to you. I pray everyday all throughout the day for people like this. It is in Gods hands nothing we can really do about it. It does make me sad to see people being so cruel and harsh to each other. All I do anymore is live my life, take care of my son,my bf and myself and the three of us are happy and good people. I believe judgement day is coming and coming soon from God and that alot of bible revelations have/are happening and I am ready to go be with God. I am a Christian and I try not to judge others, that is not my place, it is Gods place to do so, so if anything ever bothers me about anything or anyone I pray about it and leave it in Gods hands to deal with. I am not better than nyone else and no one is better than me, I am simply living a full, fruitful life and have strong morals and standards. To each their own, these are my choices. Take Care and God Bless. Jennifer

Heh....
Seems like the people who scream foul the most and chastise others for judging people are the.....first to judge. Funny how that works isn't it?
Maybe this blog will warrant another counter-blog big fella....you've arrived.

See, Pmf, this is where your wrong and you are way to quick to judge me, because justsayyeah7 doesn't have a problem with me and he knows I didn't send him one nasty or rude e-mail. Actually. we have e-mailed each other in a kind way.
It's ok just to say you hate my guts, but just don't use other people blog to do so. It's not like I give a crap about your opinion about me.

I guess I'm missing something....The most judgemental people I have ever had contact with are Christian...Give me a break...Hell they even judge each other.
More of the same old song....saying you are doesn't mean you are.
If I didn't feel the evangelical community was resopnsible for the error of Bush, the conversation would be different....step up and accept responsibilty

I don't want to sound harsh but you should know this.....
Even evangelicals claim they were the difference especially in 2004...see Ohio and other close states
Remember the family Fued....Survey says: almost 80% of the over 26 million evangelical votes were for Bush....52% of the Catholic.....Ever heard of block voting?

Jim, I didn't now that, truly. I'm not a big political person/follower, but it appears you have done some research on this.
Thanks for your dignified rebutal as well. Others would have been all too quick to post back with "anger".
