The face of a person can be deeply revealing if you know how to read it. Kindness, tranquility, depth of character, laughter are all things able to be seen in a face. Even a smiling face can reveal sadness, anger, malice or contempt. I tend to go with my first impressions when I look at someone's face

If the eyes are the window to the soul the face may well the window to the character of a being.

Have you ever been so enamored by a person's face that every time you write to that person you feel as if you already know them? Have you ever gotten tingles in your heart time after time when that person said something complimentary towards you?

Even when you know there could well be a sexual attraction towards that individual, the feelings of the heart would lead that attraction rather than follow it? Have you ever placed someone on such a pedestal that you felt they would probably never consider writing to you, or liking you, or having feelings towards you?

Have you ever had such a person write to you and say "You have captured my heart" and have tears well up in your eyes because they said those words?

Yes, I have, and I know the feeling very well.. let there be no bounds to tie either of you in place, love should give each of you wings to span whatever distance or boundaries there are in front of you.

I wish you both many wonderful times and many more cherished words exchanged.. so that your eyes will never be dry again.

feelings of the heart would lead that attraction

What we feel is by far the greater of that and which we physically see

We can see someone by looking into their heart, into their soul, and
never cast eyes upon their physical being

Eloquently written, beautiful

Something I've noticed about the man I am with .. his eyes. An uncommon kindness in his eyes that matches his laughing, easy-going nature. A friend of his praised him by telling me this:

I offer support and send blessings for you as you go foreward with your life. It is good that you are doing jumping off into this new life adventure. It will not in any way diminish your love for Peter [my late husband] or the significance of your marriage and life with him.

You have been found by a very gentle spirit and generous, open heart in [Real Name Withheld].....it will be ok....

I see all of this in his eyes.

(Kudo for this wonderful sentiment and for your beautiful soul.)
