Upon us is the beginning of a new week. My mailboxes are nearly empty so everyone must be scurrying about getting ready for their jobs and work. I slept in yesterday and cleaned up my house for a little while. I found no new evidences of a squirrel but I may have found a way to get into the house through wall tunnels though it was not very direct. I will seal it when I buy some foam insulation and put some metal over the outside access.
In the past two weeks I have met a few people from online now although I have found no romantic connections from the personal meetings. I have found a few opportunities for community service work though. One handicapped lady I had written to had her food stolen by roommates so I took her some. Another gal had storm damage to her roof and needed tarps put on, but the roofers were all too busy to return her calls. I went to her place and put up tarps with concrete blocks on them which she had paid for. I gave her a bill and told her I would like to keep the blocks and tarps when they were no longer needed . In return I gave her an invoice marked paid, which she can turn nto her insurance company. It seems like the WIN/WIN/WIN thing to do since the insurance company had requested the tarps put on.

better get myself to work.

Was nice to read this on bleak Monday, no sunshine so far. So this blog brought a bit of a warm feeling to me. I don't think a lot understand what it's like for a woman to deal with a leaky roof, broken window, pipe that drips, etc, It's nice that you went and put tarp on for the woman. I've learned how to do a lot of things since I became widowed, I changed the leaking water value to the hotline of the washer this weekend, last month I replaced a broken glass in the door. I have done alot of repairs in time due to not having a man around, but , sometimes it is not the knowhow, it's the muscle it takes to get the job done, sending you a Kudo for being a helping out kinda guy, Have a great week.
