As I wrote previously in my blog...
I used to deliver flowers for a friend who owned a floral shop. It was not for me a job; just an interesting thing to do on Valentines Day. Each year I would take flowers to gals in offices and invariably some gal would whine about not getting some. Whenever I would hear that I would always find out her name and see to it she got at least one rose on a subsequent delivery. I did not leave my name of contact info, I would just say they were from the shop. I usually paid for them at a discounted rate out of my tips. I really enjoyed doing that. Three years ago I started making Valentines cards intended for any person who would otherwise not get one. That was just as much fun (and cheaper) I just finished my card for this year and it is my gift to anyone who might enjoy it.

brings back memories of when i was a kid in grammar school....how we used to give out those multi pack generic quips, and how fun it was to give as well as receive......you're a good man wordsenchnating!
