You DEFINITELY need to keep at it. There are not enough rocker chicks to go around. Let alone girls with actual talent.
A couple of the local bands I see around town have girls singing lead, but not playing instruments. While I wouldn't accuse either of them being American Idol talent, they look good, move to the music well AND don't have the over inflated egos that I initially thought they would.
Another one that I see has a girl playing bass, but she doesn't have much stage presence.
But, you actually play an instrument. Therefore, I already assume you have more talent than they do.
REACH FOR THE STARS! If you can dream it, you can achieve it.

As I was once told by a friend *grins* shoot for your dreams and remember NOTHING is impossible with God on your side. I am VERY proud of you and very happy too!! Do what you do,and do it greatly! Dont ya EVER give up on dreams.....and I bet you kick butt on those drums!! Much love to ya!
