I have noticed some people like to blog on here questioning christians and their intentions. As a christian I can only speak for myself. If people are making you feel bad about yourself with what they say then I am sorry to hear that. I think christians sometimes forget that just because they do not believe in doing something, they should not judge others because they do believe in it. That is the job of God. For example; christians believe that the bible is the law of which man should live by, but some christians like to remind others who are not christians that what they are doing is wrong, they will go to hell for it and that they are bad people. An example of this is that some church is going to protest the funeral of Heath Ledger because He played a gay cowboy in a movie. What this church is failing to realize is that their sin of judging this young man is equally as bad in God's eyes as being gay. This church is doing more harm for God then most sinners accompolish. We as christians are not suppose to judge other people regardless of what they do. When we do judge other people, this act alone is the single most offense that non christians like to use against us and turns people off in believing in God. My thinking is that as a christian, my actions speak louder then words. If I do good, then I hope others see that and will also want to do good. If I treat everyone with respect and love and not just my friends, then others seeing my actions my might want to treat people like that. Now going back to the main topic of why christians talk about Jesus, this is my reason why I do it. I write blogs on here to help people notice some things that are important to me. None of my blogs preach to people, just my way of bringing up awareness on some issues. Now I know not everyone wants to hear what I want to say and that is fine, but those of you who don't want to read my words don't have too. You have that freedom. Ignore what you feel you need to ignore. As for me I will continue to talk about Jesus and this is why. First off I like talking about Jesus and it makes me feel good. Second and most important is there is a passage in the bible requiring us to admit our faith about Jesus in order to know God. That passage is as follows:
Mathew 10:32-33
Confess Christ Before Men
"Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven."
Christians who like to look down on non christians and point out their sins just remember this. We as christians are not perfect either, we are just forgiven because we ask for forgiveness. We are not better then anyone.

For that reason, we need to ask for forgiveness and ask him into our hearts.
Then read Romans 9:16 and realize it's really not up to us with what we do individually, but entirely HIS call on to whom HE shows mercy.
OK.
Meanwhile, this guy " " created by HIM himself, is waiting for those who are not 'chosen' to have received the much needed mercy.
I know, I know. You can't take verses out of context. But that is what they do in bible group studies (all the time).

All monomaniacs are boring.
Any one that tries to make a whole life out of one taste, be it religeous, sexual, sporting, political, or whatever is monumental bore.
And that is the Gospel according to Saint Ttomtarr , Ch 1, V1 - 3

I am a Zorp from planet Snarg. My beliefs are that every being must bow to the will of Zofo-zeem-pop the grand white Wiber and her one true profit Qwell. I have come to this planet to show all of humanity the error of its ways in worshiping false gods, and to convert it to the worship of Zofo-zeem-pop. You must denounce all others!

Very well thought out and to the point.I am AN athiest and perhaps the most tolerent person of other's belief systems and it irks me to no end to be subjected to somebody's biblical theory of what is going to happen to me in the here after.I accept what they believe and I wish to be allowed as the Connstitution guarantees to be free to believe what I choose.Good post.

Could you breakdown the core belief in the "Zorplum Religion" which will allow me to feel "persecuted" for believing in Zorp which will validate my personal crusade to defend Zorp and allow me to attempt to make other people feel "guilty" for not confessing their "guilt" to Zorb, I mean ZORP! ????? forgive me.

Jesus was not a Christian. Jesus, or Anu in Hebrew. He was Hebrew you know! He taught freedom, justice, and equality for his people. There is no mention of Jesus in the bible talking about Christianity. There was always an understanding of a supreme being and he professed to be the Son of God. Your version of Jesus was and still is Constantine the Roman Emporer around the time the Crusades were going on. And that was some straight savagery. Oh yeah, I never forgave for the savagery against my people that set us back generations here in North America and even worse the savagery that the US government partakes in the Birthplace of civilization, Africa! There's your forgiveness. The destruction of the world! Back to the Bible. When you start talking about the Bible you better make sure you have disected it thoroughly. I mean really really read it over and over and over beginning to end. On that note I'm a blow your mind with a verse in the Bible. Read Hebrews chapter 7 verse 1 through 3. One.

Well, the last blog I have a comment for. Of course Jesus did not mention christianity. Christianity was started because of Jesus. Therefore the christian faith is a result of him so why would He mention christianity?

When Christian do as you say, then they themselves aren't Christians.
Your 100% right, It's not the role of a Christians to tell anyone they are going to hell or anywhere, they are only suppose to inspire people with Jesus teachings.
Excellent blog

Ginstl - if you are annoyed with my blogs, why are you reading and commenting on them. Like I said in my blog, feel free to ignore them. Why do you assume I'm annoyed? you said "You" noticed people getting annoyed.
I merely stated: "you noticed?"
If I were annoyed, why would I be posting a response to your question? I am not annoyed at all, in fact, I love this kind of debate and always have so why are you taking it so personally?
I have already told you where I stand in regard to christianity in your other blogs. So,,, we continue the debate, Yes????

I too,am a christian and I love God and I believe in the Bible... As humas we fall short, reguarldess of the situation. But ur right we sometimes fail to realize that were judging others and pointing fingers at others thinking were helping but only to see later on that were hurting them more. The old sayin goes " get the log out of ur eye before u try to reveal the speak in anothers eye" Its not worded to a "T" but u get my drift..great blog man! God bless!
