(for those who need stronger glasses, it says:
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it,
unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.)

Too many of us believe everything we read (even stuff we read here ) without bothering to think for ourselves.

We don't even check it out.

If something in your head says there is something wrong, there probably is.

The quote mentions common sense, something I think we often suspend if a "credible" source tells us something.

No matter that experience may tell us something different.

Anyway, I have no other point here except to say reason and common sense are good things and should be used on a daily basis.
