Ok, so I went out last night with a group of friends for dinner, dancing, drinking & laughter & something happened within my mind that I need some feedback on. To set the stage let me inform all of you that I am 48 years old, been around the world a time or two & have a Gemini mind.... one that is thinking random thoughts at about 1000 words a minute. UGH!
So anyways, the usual ruckus goes on at the local tavern... bodies gyrating to the beat of the base guitar & drummer, people turn into their alter-egos, etc... and the bass player suddenly flashes me... WOW, what a hairy chest!!! Then he wants me to do the same in return and I'm thinking to myself... "what's the big deal, they're just breasts! You know, another body part like my arm or my knee" so I flashed him which got everyone howling.
But seriously, I sat out the next 2 dances & that's when my mind took off. Why does the human race make such a big deal about our body parts, even going so far as to label them "private." Some say because the breasts and the nether regions are errogenous zones... sexual body parts... and that means they need to stay covered. I say BULL$HIT! My neck has been known to be an errogenous zone... so has the back of my knee. Ever had your feet tenderly rubbed? I melt like butter and yet it's ok to bare those parts of our bodies. So what's the big deal? I don't get it.

Yeah, if I scream really loud you can catch a glimpse of it. No, seriously...I guess no one is understanding what I am trying to say. I don't understand this law that states we're not allowed to walk around naked cause certain parts of the body need to remain covered. What makes my breasts any more obscene than my arm? To me it's just another body part, no different than all the others. But somebody out there deemed them to be "bad" and like anything that else that comes across as being forbidden, it only makes others focus more on it. Am I making sense? This wasn't a joke... I was serious.
