Right after Valentine's Day and sometimes even before you can find roses
that are deeply discounted or even thrown in the trash because they are
wilting. Doesn't matter. All you need are the petals anyway. If you gently
wash the petals they are edible. You can put a couple on top of a dessert
you lovingly make. You can use petals to create a trail to where
their present awaits them. Toss a few petals into a hot drawn bath, gently
resting on a mountain of bubbles.
