So, close but no cigar for the Pats. And quite right to; they just did not get out of first gear yesterday, and allowed the Giant's defence to dominate the game. Whatever the reason, they lost, and quite rightly so. The Pats place in history is now for a famous loss not for being perfect. Well, they had it all, all the aces, and blew it. Players talked before about history and destiny, and forgot about the other team. As we all did. But to win at Green Bay in fierce conditions and Farvre should have told us something. But for me, it was Belichick and his stomping off before the final play; if you can't lose well then maybe you shouldn't be in the game.
Well done to Eli for coming out of the shadow of his brother, and leading his tem; but for me it was the defence that won it for the pressure on Brady. And for overcoming multiple injuries to so many players through the past few weeks. Giants are the champions, and deservidly so.

Belichick's interview was very telling. The man is a prick.

Sure makes me feel good to know that the World Champs were the only team to beat the GB Packers in the playoffs.

The above is NOT true.Belichick congratulated Coughlin (his log time friend) at the supposed end of the game and then walked off the field . The NFL then said there was 1 second remaining in the game and that 1 more play HAD to be played.

Belichick was already inside the tunnel and their was NO point in him coming back on the field.

In the post game interview Belichick who is a man of a few words simply said about the game that "It's dissapointing...and that the Giants made more plays then we(Patriots ) did. That is hardly being a poor loser.

PS: And as a "life long Patriots fan" I say Congratulations to the New York Football Giants and their fans ! You are the NEW World Champions and you earned it by playing a great game ! I hope we can play a rematch next year !

Dear Mr Boston.

Although I admire your defending the coach, what he did was wrong. Period. So sad that people from Mass and Boston cannot see that. Yes he did congratulate the winning coach, but it was clear to everyone there was one more play left, but it had to be done on his term. So sad.
Winning at all cost is fine, using gamesmanship all is fair, and probably should be. Challenge bad calls for sure, but whether the player going off had his feet on the fiels of play when the snap happened was just being picky. It may be proffesional, but it aint nice.
I'm a Steelers fan, and I thought when we won it the hard way a couple of years back was good; but what the Giants did this year trumps that.

Yes, they are the champions, and rightly so.

The above is funny. The Giants had 12 men on the field on that play and as YOU know there should only be 11 players on the field .That is SMART coaching to challenge that play !

Did you watch the game ? Everybody including the Giants thought time had expired that is why the 2 coaches were on the middle of the field at the end of th3e game .

The game was OVER and to call Belichick a poor loser for that is nonsense.

Make it a Good Day .

It's even funnier about Pats fans when you challenge them to place a friendly bet and they chicken out.
