What are you giving up for lent?

Lent is a forty-day period before Easter. It begins on Ash Wednesday. We skip Sundays when we count the forty days, because Sundays commemorate the Resurrection. Lent begins on 6 February 2008 and ends on 22 March 2008, which is the day before Easter.

Though I don't believe in this ritualistic tradition for many reasons that I wil keep to myself, there are plenty who do and I'm firmly believe in allowing each soul to walk their own path without criticism or judgment from me.

So in the lightness of "allowing" I am curious as to what each of you is giving up for lent this year!
