Since ya'll didn't tear me up to bad on my last piece of hack writing I decided to post something else I wrote.

I cannot stand before you and pretend
I try to walk the straight and narrow
in your quiver to be the truest arrow
but I always fall short of the mark
seek the light but can't escape the dark

I can't help but to walk a crooked walk
from my mouth comes a twisted talk
and I know your watching from above
I feel as if I'm not worthy of your love
but you always give your love anyway
you used your blood my fare to pay
