I'm asking ALL MY MD FRIENDS to PLEASE say a Prayer for my Grandson, Adrian, who was born 3 mths and 1 wk premature.
He is being med-flighted out Thursday morning to Mayo in Rochester, MN to have heart surgery Friday morning.
He weighs 2 lbs 15 oz. This surgery is VERY risky. His ductus vessel in his heart won't close. Instead of the hole closing, it's getting bigger and affecting his breathing.
Last night and today when I was in to see him, he was doing good. In fact they'd put him on a regular oxygen tube, instead of the big blue one he was on.
My daughter called me this evening and told me they'd done an echo cardigram and the hole had gotten bigger and he was being med flighted out tomorrow morning. The heart doctor made the decision, not his doctor. His brain looks fine, she said. There is no bleeding or scarring, which is good.
All I'm asking for is Prayers, they cost nothing, but create much!!!!

I said a prayer for your grandson. My daughter was 2 and a half months early. She was 2lbs 2oz. I know what your going through especially Adrian's parents. It will be a long haul but God is in control.

Dear Lord,
Please watch over Adrian and make him well,This family has endured more heartache than most.This tiny baby who is so new to this world needs your helping hand to heal him.Please show the Doctors the way so he can be a healthy boy.You took one child from this family,please do not take another.

As I sit here in the hotel lobby, checking my mail, I have tears streaming down my face. I feel so much love from all of you.
Thank you so very much for all your Prayers and Love!! Adrian was baptized before being flown up here this morning. He is under God's care now!
Adrian is scheduled for surgery in the morning. We're eating something and heading back over to the hospital to spend time with him tonight. I actually got to change his diaper twice tonight, and was ELATED when he pee'd on me....lol
They don't have him in the closed up isolette up here, like in LaCrosse, he's in an open one and I can kiss him and touch him and put my arm over him without having to look through glass/plastic.
Tonight I get to hold him my daughter said. I'm so excited!! All I want to do is shower and GET BACK OVER THERE, but Cianna is exhausted and is resting right now.
I'll try to get back online after the surgery tomorrow morning, as we won't be able to have much contact with him right away.
Again, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS.
