In other words, it is all about "self."

A perceived notion of "self preservation."


Look at our world!
Take the Planet Earth.....from a distance, one would never expect to find so much hate and greed on it's beautiful surface. From a distance, it is so serene and calm. It's appearance is an icon of peace and beauty when seen from a distance.

Only a small handful of earth's passengers have actually seen it from a distance. The rest of us have seen pictures of it. Probably does not have the same effect.

And yet....upon closer inspection.....the reality of just how small the "thinking" being exercised by the planet's inhabitants really is, becomes clear. Self destruction can be the only result of the behavior being demonstrated by the world's visitors. After all....we are just visitors are we not?

No matter how hard we try.....there is always someone who is so small minded, they can not see the inevitable outcome of being stubborn and full of fear.

Greed......power......control......= self. No matter what the supposed subject matter is....religion, power, greed, energy.....or insulting words.....doesn't matter.
Peace is impossible.

When one "hates", the perception is that one needs to "defend.".....That he is being attacked and is threatened, which can afflict his ego with a sense of injury. Which calls for counter-attacks to insure a continuance of his objectives, what ever they may be. Which then leads the attacked to defend...which leads to another attack.....see where this is going children? It is endless.

It is totally unproductive, unnecessary, pointless, a waste of resources and talent. It also damages the spirit within each participant. And those around them.
Those who join in or join sides also become unwitting participants. Which damages those spirits and those around them, slowly spreading like a cancer.

It is universal, comes from the same source, and self propagates itself. Like a cancer.

When I see someone who perceives he is being attacked, and then he attacks back his perceived attacker, in any part of the world, I see the ingredients of every conflict known to man since the dawn of time. I see the endlessness and hopelessness of it all.

I hear all the time from so called "peacemakers" that they will be willing to stop their attacks, IF the attacks against them would stop.

That is NOT how it works my Brothers and Sisters. Which should be painfully obvious by just observing the state our own planet is in.

Not to mention what goes on in these tiny little blank boxes that seems to so easily fill up with hate, fear, anger, and injury. A mico-planet...right here.....and we can do nothing to stop the bickering. Which is the very essence and first ingredient of Hate.

I am not going to try to explain how to stop the violence. Like I said, it is hopeless. There are far too few real peacemakers on our planet. Far too few people who can think in terms of compassion, generosity, courage, and love.

We have all heard that old saying "Love is a verb." It is what you DO....not what you say, that defines your love.

I believe "Peace" has it's own version of that saying.

Peace is a verb......it is what you actually DO that makes the peace.....not what you say.

The only way to stop the hate......is to stop.
Leave it right where it sits.....and move on to bigger and better things.
Hate will disappear when left alone. It REQUIRES PARTICIPATION from you to exist.

Doesn't matter if you are the President of Palestine, or a member of a dating site.

In other words....Hate is a verb......it is what you do that defines your hate, your fear, your anger.....

Just take away all it's power over you by letting it go, no matter what.
No matter who is "right"....
No matter if you appear "weak".....

Let it stop.....if we can't do anything else we can stop it here, in our beloved blogland....in the forums.....and in your lives.
Be leaders.....repair your spirits and those around you will do the same eventually.
Lead by example.
The "weak" shall inherit the earth....remember?

The world is lost.....if we can't even stop it here.
