I've read a lot of blogs about Southern Ladies, and how wonderful they are. And I'll give it to you guys, you truly are wonderful

But now, it's our turn.

Bon Jovi said, "Jersey Girls have that special inner glow that makes them more beautiful than any other girl". Now, I don't think I agree with that last part, but I will agree with the first part: we do have an aura, if you will. Let me explain it to those of you who have only seen movies about Jersey chicks and have this weird idea about us.

From the rolling hills and mountains of North Jersey, to the beaches of South Jersey, to the er- cesspool - that is everything that lies between....Jersey girls are truly an entity of their own.

A Jersey girl can kick your ass, melt your heart, or do both simultaneously with her eyes and/or her words.

A Jersey girl laughs loud.

A Jersey girl lives loud.

A Jersey girl plays hard...at love, and at life.

A Jersey girl claims love for the environment while staring in the mirror, spray bottle of Big Sexy Hair five inches from her head, spraying for five consecutive minutes.

A South Jersey girl has a bumper sticker with the exit she lives off of on the back of her car, so people won't have to ask. A North Jersey girl responds "FACK AWWF" when people ask, because she doesn't live off an exit.

A North Jersey girl knows the City like the back of her hand, and will tell you five different ways to get there.

A Jersey girl will give you as good a ride in her car as she will in bed...and that is truly saying something about the way she drives

Lord help the man who breaks a Jersey girl's heart. He will have to deal with all five of her best friends, plus her sister.

Lord help the woman who engages in a battle of wits, words, or nails with a Jersey girl.

Jersey girls rush to the mall every Saturday morning because there's a sale, and because there's three malls at least 30 minutes away from her house, so why not?

Jersey Italianas make better pasta with gravy and meatballs than anyone in the country. And as soon as they've had their mama's gravy and meatballs, no one else's will ever compare.

Jersey girls understand the need to carry Mace in their purse and have a cell phone at the age of 12. Especially the ones who live in central Jersey.

Jersey girls are all a little kooky, even if they claim to be normal.

Jersey girls know the many benefits of a middle finger.

Jersey girls hang out on the beach all day and come home smelling like sand with a pretty tan and a bunch of saltwater taffy.

Jersey girls love their men more than anything, even if they pretend like they don't give a shit sometimes.

Jersey girls are louder at sporting events than any man in attendance.

Jersey girls can hold their liquor, and they'll let you know.

Jersey girls keep money in the area between the front seats of their cars, because they just know at some point, they'll be going through a toll booth.

Jersey girls keep a jar in their rooms full of money that is specifically for "Thursday Nail Appointments".

Jersey girls make the best friends, because they'll fight to the death for anyone they think of as a friend. A friend is like family to a Jersey girl.

If you f*** with a Jersey girl, you f*** with her family. But if you love a Jersey girl, you better be prepared to love her family.

Jersey girls possess a greater love for their state than anyone I've ever met.

Jersey girls know weird, and if you ask them, they can tell you about five or more different incidences of weirdness in their state. Nearly every Jersey girl reads Weird NJ and lives by it.

A Jersey girl will welcome you into her home if you have nowhere to stay. If there's no room, she'll make room.

A Jersey girl drinks her "cawfee" while walking her "dawg".

Jersey girls are beautiful, fun, spunky, loud, and interesting.

Jersey girls are not ladies. Jersey girls are broads.

A man who loves a Jersey girl is a special kind of man, because we are a handful!

I hope that you all understood this for the satirical, yet loving piece it was supposed to be.
