It's finally Friday.

What a week. I am exhausted, but I am looking forward to the weekend.
Not because I have days off or anything like that. I own my guitar shop, and I work everyday.
The difference is, I love my job. So it is not a job, most times anyway. Although I do wish I had a life like many of you enjoy, mine ain't so bad either I guess. I just can't go on exotic or extended vacations like some of you do. I get a little envious of that once in a while. But then I think..... where would I go?? And I am pretty sure I would be ready to come back as soon as I got there. I would love to see my folks in North Carolina, and that is the truth. It's been a long time. And I miss them very much.
As far as warm oceans ( full of things bigger than me....with teeth...) or high far away ski resorts, ( can you say freezing cold , ice, and avalanches? Hell...got that stuff right here!) .......or warm sunny Mexico......(.don't drink the water.)...see what I mean? there is just too much stuff to think about if you go some where "fun." Besides.???? Where could there be a place as fun as Wyoming? ....................... ........scary huh? * sigh *
Hey...it's my life.....

So I look forward to the weekends, because I take The Thomas MacWilliams Band ( that's me... ) and we play guitars and stuff, and chase womens, and drink adult bevera.....I mean.... we go play gigs, enjoy a beer, and work hard at our chosen craft.
It also boosts the monthly income which is also important, although none of us in the band are particularly concerned with the money...it's the...umm....ah....opportunity to play guitars and stuff, and flirt wi.....umm...... ......we just love to play...ok?

So ...I , for one, am glad it's Friday. I have gigs lined up for each night, and this week all 3 are in places we have never played at before, at least in this configuration. So it will be like mini vacations every night.

This ( being the weekend, full of gigs) holds one other significant benefit of course.

I am officially OFF puppy patrol!
This may not seem like a big deal to some of you....many will not have a clue what I am talking about...... some of you will understand. Don't worry...it isn't important.
And that's all I will say about that.

So.....come on Friday night!
I am soooo ready to go to "work."
