How tired I always seem to be
How impatient and demanding you are of me
Expectations of full time there, stay home here
Take care of them, advance career

Don’t smoke, don’t drink
Just do what I say,
I’ll tell you what to feel, and think and pray.
I never listen, that’s what you tell me,
But what about the lies you sell me?
Move in with me, I’ll take good care!
We’ll have love and health and money to spare.
Now I’m older, my body changed
Two kids I bore, it rearranged
Two years of being too tired to cook,
Has changed the way that I should look.
How hard I work to please just you,
And you think I’m pleasing others, too.
Not once have I stepped out, it’s true
Each move I’ve made has been misconstrued.
The house isn’t clean, the cars a mess
And still I try to do my best
I’ve taken care of the kids I guess,
They’re well fed, well-loved, well dressed.
The laundry’s backed up to Saturday
The first day I have to go away
Be gone 32 hours straight
Start late, get off early, start early, get off late.
It’s a lot for any woman to take,
It would make a lesser woman break,
So when you scream, yell, growl –know what’s at stake
I am your EQUAL, for God’s sake.
I won’t live under your suspicion,
I’ll only live, love and thrive on one condition:
You treat me with respect and dignity
You also love, honor and obey ME.
This needs fixed and in a hurry,
I don’t mean to make you worry
But I won’t take another day
Of feeling such huge dismay,
My heart hurts for I truly love you,
I’ve never placed anything above you,
I am your wife, your children’s Mother,
I’ve loved you all my life, like no other.
So please do not scar my tender, loving heart,
By yelling, screaming, and being suspicious like you are,
I’m only waiting on you to see,
I am your EQUAL, I belong to you- You belong to me!

Aw Kris  With two little kids (one new, right?), a stressful job, a house to maintain, and a husband, it's no wonder things aren't feeling equal.
Relationships often double ya over with "growing pains". Let's just hope the love you two share, the foundation of your bond, is strong enough to get you over and through this latest bump.

To all the women who work and take care of their children,my hats of to you.The same to any woman that has given her phsyical beauty for children.To all the guys,if she has a job how hard is it to do a load of laundry or cook a simple dinner.I agree with what you say EQUAL.
