As I grow older, I start believing more that some things can affect life in odd ways.
JUST prior to the eclipse,I had a "meet and greet" with a special man for the first time.
When he got into my town, he phoned and said "Ok, now how do I get to your house?" I gave him (what I thought) was one simple off-ramp instruction, then I would meet him at the convenience storer/Deli on the main street through town.
So......
I'm a fairly simple person. I showered, put on decent clothes, shoes and my nice leather coat. I'm not big into makeup, but I put on a little mascara and put my hair up. I think I even used a spritz of perfume!. Just a dab of lip gloss too.
So...I brush my teeth, put the dog out one last time, lock up and head out.
There he was! I smiled and gave him a kiss. Then he got into his car and followed me to my place. We sat here talking about SO much. Had a couple of drinks. It was time for me to use "the ladies room."
So...
I am standing at the sink washing my hands, and notice this eerie glow in my mirror. I open my mouth, and HORRORS...! Every one of my teeth was a gorgeous bright blue!
 I'm blaming the eclipse.........
or the blue raspberry blowpop I had been sucking on...
(Oh-I did brush them, in spite of what a pretty color they were!)

blue teeth.....i bet that was something to see.....i once had a first and last date with a woman.....when we were eating she was cutting down the way other women around us were dressed and the amount of make up they were wearing.....but anyhow....she had this piece of food kind of glued to the side of her lips....so as a get back....i never told her about it the whole meal....till our waitrss said something to her at the end of the meal....cookie
