The sweet aroma of spices filled the air. The sauce was simmering, and had been for quite some time now.
I was anticipating a wonderful dinner with an amazing man.
Earlier in the day we talked, laughed, enjoyed hot cocoa together.
It had been quite some time since I had anticipated an evening like this.
He is so sweet, a true gentleman. Thinking of me not only today, but often, and doing those little special things. It is those things that make me want more of him.
His smile is contagious. His eyes are bright. His words charming.
When I'm feeling down, he is always there to lift my spirits. When I've had a bad day, it is the sound of his voice that excites me.
I could see the table was set, flowers, and yes,... candles.
I was served the most delicious meal of spaghetti, garlic bread, and applesauce.
He reached across the table and took my hand, and said grace.
He poured my favorite dinner beverage, .. milk.
The conversation began, full of laughter. It was so enjoyable!
I am in awe of this special man in my life. I am truly blessed to be loved so deeply by him.
Tonight my friends, I had dinner with Chad. I love that kid!

I started reading with a touch of jealousy. Here was another successful guy in MD and about half way through I realized it was Chad and my mouse just kinda flew to the kudo button. lol
