I'm beginning to think Matchdoctor is the digital version of a wax museum. The appearance seems real, but you're not genuine. Are you really whom you appear to be? Theoretically, there's only supposed to be one real person connected to each and every profile. However, on close inspection, I find it's not true. There are people here running multiple profiles.
A few days ago, for whatever reason, a popular blogger/member of MD had closed her account. Cancellation of accounts here is nothing new. People do it all the time. Whether you pissed someone off or someone pissed you off or you just need a few hours to sit on the toilet while you're getting your hair died, the amazing thing is the number of whining folks who spawn off a bunch of 'my life has ended without you here' blogs, when in-fact, the world still continues to turn while you are gone.
But.. are you really gone?
I'm a bit naive to the goings on here... What's the accepted protocol for closing your account and opening another?
That's really not a question requiring someone to answer... perhaps it's just a thought put to blog. Maybe these people have a split personality and they are dissatisfied with themselves or something on MD isn't to their liking. So, they create another profile and pretend to be someone else.

been on the doctor for over three years now......the last year...a gold member.....ive also seen people come and go on here.....of coures...a choice few announce their leaving as if its resigning from office....at first......i couldnt understand what was the big deal.....even now.....when i see it.....still dont understand it.....but you know what?.......after seeing so many do this....only to return later as if it really matters.....ive learned that in my world......as bill murray once said in one of his movies.......it just dosnt matter....it just dosnt matter.....it just dosnt matter......say it with me one time.....IT JUST DOSNT MATTER......now.....feel better about yourself?.....feel like you can move on in your life?......good......my job is done here......cookie

I left for a night cause I got freaked out by some mail I got so I cancelled...Stupid, I should of blocked it first. I came back though. I am only me here, just the Fender, but I get what your saying, you make a good point! 
...I often wonder too, who is someone when they seem so familiar with their writing style yet their name is different.

more news......i drove 30 miles to work.......only to leave my medical scrubs at home in the dryer.....drove back home to get them....30 more miles with the idea of driving back after the rush hour traffic was thru......then...i called my boss and told him im gonna be taking the day off....aready have my morning coffee in hand........cookie

Well ....there is only one of me but I do know that the vicious tzus sometimes log in as me and post blogs begging for treats etc. I would give them their own account but the mod said it couldn't happen...

Have you noticed how so many profiles say "not into games?" When I read that I think, don't come to MD then 'cause that's what a lot of people who post on here seem to thrive on. Yes, some profiles and writing styles do seem to follow patterns of others in ways that have made me wonder if they aren't alter egos. Inflated egos at that. *G*
