When I google 2012, I see that "NASA" believes the magnetic poles will reverse (coinciding with a high solar CME period) but something occurred to me a bit ago.

In 2012 on Dec. 21, we’ll be preparing to inaugurate either a reelected president or inaugurating a new one…. Maybe the whole 2012 thing is really about events that come about during these next for years of our incoming president’s term?

Which could be the worst case scenario and why?

	worst case scenerio? another repub and his cohorts once again gleaning the cream from those dumb ass iberals efforts! why do the libs play this game? wait!!! you don't think they might just be a part of this game! 	I have been hearing and reading stuff about the year 2012. But I don't really worry about it , only because ... for years, they have been saying these days like " the End of the World " and nonsense . To be honest , even if these things actually happen in 2012 , maybe we should elect you to be our next President of the United States . lol

	It's funny, I googled that and the only place I could find the line you quoted was on google. I couldn't find it anywhere in the Wiki article, but maybe I missed it. But for the real deal you can read the NASA article here... The Sun Does A Flip The Sun's magnetic poles will remain as they are now, with the north magnetic pole pointing through the Sun's southern hemisphere, until the year 2012 when they will reverse again. This transition happens, as far as we know, at the peak of every 11-year sunspot cycle -- like clockwork. Like clockwork. It happens every 11 years...nothing happened here on earth any of the other times.

	Because the Mayan calender ends in 2012 and other doomsayers say it's the end means nothing. Don't look at it as the end,but a new begining to something wonderful for mankind.

	One thing for sure about 2012 is that crazies of every description will be descending on Yucatan for one of the wildest parties on earth. That is already one of the best places I know of to have a good time. The end of the world party will really kick it int high gear I suspect it will last for months. With a lot of people thinking it will be the end of existance, there will be a lot of them pulling out all the stops, with no limits, and nothing to lose.. I love gatherings, and will be there if it is at all possible. It will be weeks of good times with a great variety of people. I just hope that the fireworks at the end of the party aren't nuclear or solar !
