To Myself:
Does everyone deserve happiness? That is a question that I have been thinking alot about lately. I always thought the answer was yes. That no one deserved to be sad, or lonely and that there was some kind of happiness for everyone. But lately as my life seems to be shattering in pieces, I sit here and wonder why I don't feel like I deserve happiness... I've always tried to be a good person, try my hardest at everything, not get into trouble, and be a responsible person, but yet I feel like I am going backwards and that I'm geting more UNhappy. But even though I've tried hard in life that doesn't mean that I haven't made mistakes, but I never thought I made a mistake so big that I don't deserve to be happy!
Maybe I'm just being selfish and impatient but all I really want in life is happiness of some kind and soon please....

Happiness is a CHOICE - you can choose to be happy in spite of the
crap we all go through as humans.
We don't have to let other people nor events control us.

Like Trout wrote, you have a choice. Choose the things that make you happy either in doing or sharing. I looked at your pictures in the profile, do more of them.
You put them in there for a reason the same as I have with mine. Be happy with yourself first and given time, the others will follow. Be who you are, not what someone else want you to be. You have a gift, use it wisely.

I understand completely...just be thankful that you are young enough to turn things around...and yes positive thinking is very powerful...take care...fill your times with positive people, things and if that doesn't work make sure you are not suffering from depression...

I apologize that this is extremely late in coming, I just say your blog for the first time.
I would be lying if I said yes, everyone deserves happiness. I don't feel like I deserve to be happy at all. I try to be a good person and do the right thing and help out when I can but it always backfires. Either I end up hurt or in physical pain (I can't wait for work tomorrow) or it ends up meaning nothing. When the nothing happens and the world feels like it's crashed through the floor around me, I don't feel like I've done anything at all to deserve happiness.
But part of my problem is I let the bad feeling and unhappiness consume me. I don't know what is is like to be happy, I can't remember a time when I ever was. I let that bad come in and stay. It's not a good thing. I hope you don't go down or aren't already on the same road.
Most people deserve happiness, especially you Miss Ash. I hope it finds you one day.
