hello blogland my name is Jerry and I'm an addict , also a pusher 
some from blogland or addicts too,  and some that "just" sample
my wares once in a while when they need a little pick me up. 
You see I'm addicted to music and love sharing with other. 
It allstarted when I was a child in rural Mississippi in the early 50s we didn't
a TV but the radio was on all day long. There was a boy from the area
some waves in the music world, Elvis was his name. We walked down the
road to a neighbor's that had a TV whenever he was on. Even tho I was young
so learned that I liked the hard stuff. By twisting the radio dial around I learned
Little Richard was better than Pat Boone.
Later we moved north to Chicago (58) big city, more music. When I got my own radio
I lay awake on summer nights (no school) and twist the dial around and through the
static and popping I heard country, rock, jazz, BLUES, polkas, classical, and more.
The british invaded and more sounds came my way.
I grew and when off to the army. My Uncle Sam sent me on vacation to southeast asia
my box of tapes got me back to the world again. Back home I discovered concerts
and the addiction grew. Stones, Zep, Purple, Floyd, Who I wanted to see everyone that
came to town. Then videos came along and if I could see the music all the time.
By the time I came to MD I was raging junkie but now I had a way to draw others
in too. That's my story I'm Jerry and I'm a music addict.
