Ever notice that when some people have a different point of view then you that they want to silence you? Are they afraid of dialogue? Are they afraid of debate? Is it their way or the highway? Earlier there was a blog about Barrack Obama and how that if you have a problem with who he associates himself with or his policies that somehow you are a racist, prejudice or hateful.
This blog referred people who do not like who Mr. Obama associates himself with or his policies that somehow you are not a good person and should not be blogging on here. This person wrote But just in case anyone is wondering I know that MD is not a dumpster. Like I said, MD is not a community of bigotry, prejudice, and hate. I just had to get that off my chest. So in other words, say nice things about Mr. Obama or his pastor or you are a person who is full of bigotry, prejudice and hate. Sounds like a democrat to me. I never understood people who are either republican or democrat. They always defend their side no matter what and if you dare disagree with them then they bad mouth you. This blog was a perfect example.
Here is a comment I wrote for that blog that got disapproved by the writer of that blog;
I don't understand this blog. Is this blog saying that if you are critical of the politics of a black man running for president that you are somehow a racist? In other words, a black man is immune to criticism?
Mr. Obama has associated himself with someone who preaches hate, anger, lies, conspiracy theories, gives awards to Louis Farrakhan(a known racist), racism and things you would think would not be coming out of the mouth of a preacher. Is it racism to bring this up because he is black? No.
How are we ever going to get over this racism talk when you say things like this? Mrs. Clinton gets bashed all the time. Does that mean people are being shovinous? No. President Bush gets bashed all the time. So is it ok to be critical of a white man and not a black man?
When it comes to politics, people who don't like your policies are going to be critical of you. Does that mean you are racist? No. Politics bring out some strong emotions in people who follow it. That is why I am not very political, there is no love in politics. If we use calling people racist to shut them up, then there is no room for dialogue in politics.
What ever happened to freedom of speech? This blog makes me think that you are only for it if you agree with what the other person is saying. If you do not like what other people blog about, I suggest you don't read it and go about your day. And if you are a Barrack Obama supporter understand this, most people are not going to be critical of him because he is black, but because of the policies he stands for and who he associates himself with. That is just the way politics are. Maybe us Independents are the luckiest ones of all. We are not biased towards any political side and we see things for what they truly are. Most republicans and democrats can not say that. They defend their side and try to shut up the opposition no matter how bad the subject or person involved is. Just look at Global Warming. People who believe in this try to shut up the critics of it. Why? Debate is the best thing this country has going for it. It means everyone has a say about things. Stop trying to silence that.

As I wrote on his blog, it should be about polocies and nothing else. To decide on race or colour is not the best way to decide who is going to be in the Oval office for the next four years. For my POV, Obama is a little too inexperienced for the job right now, but wither Hiaray or Mcain would be ok. Nader maybe? Just as long as he does not split the democratic vote. But a viable third choice would be good. We kinda have one here in Britain, as the main two parties have not worked, I vote for them now.

Thank you Blueyed, I checked, I might of missed it, but I didn't see anything about posting my own email. That's OK, it helps the topic of this blog. If I dare say, I didn't even know this person that reported me was black. I never checked his profile cause I was commenting on the issue at hand and color had nothing to do with it. Just shows my point how some can exaggerate and report you rather than do what this blog is all about. What I fine disturbing, couple of nights ago someone posted a blog. Posted comments followed. One person got very rude, to you and IB4U resorted to name calling and vulgar languages, those post stand. Go figure.

Hey, at least they didn't try to end the debate by going off topic and calling you a child molester or forgetting the actual topic and telling everyone how many people died in Baltimore last year.

justsayyeah7,,,I remember that blog,,, it was a good one in my opinion, but I was "called" a "few names" by another "commenter" because of the coments I made. Sad when some can "voice" their thoughts and opinions yet others can't,, or are ridiculed if they do. But, as I said in my comments from the other blog,, when people resort to name-calling, ridiculing etc, it just shows their low intellligence level in my opinion.
