Hello all my MD friends, I wanted to stop by and let everyone know that me and the kids are doing our best to make it through this 2nd anniversary of losing Jason as best as we can. Tuesday will be 2 years, and I wonder where the time has went. I've been so busy with the other 4 kids, my healthy grandson and my grandson that was born 3 mths preemie, that I don't get to stop, take a deep breath and think about the "good times" with Jason. As of late, all I do is cry. My youngest son is having a horrible time right now with the flashbacks of the accident that I feel I'm losing him too at times. He's struggling in school right now, although he's an A/B student. He's up rambling around the house most of the night, and refuses to take the meds that were prescribed. I just pray that Jason watches over him and I don't lose him too!! My youngest grandson is still in the hospital. He had heart surgery in Rochester Mn on Feb 8, and recovered from that fairly well. He was on the ventilator longer then they wanted him to be, but he's off it now. He now has scar tissue in his throat, which makes it hard for him to suck the bottle, but by gosh!!, he's taking the bottle. When he came into this world 3 mths and 1 wk early, he weighed 2 lbs and 8 oz. He now weighs a whopping 6 lbs and 1 oz. I don't know how long he is, but he's tiny......lol I just put a pick on my profile of me holding him last Wednesday. If you notice my hands and his tiny body, you'll get the gist of how small he actually is. He had his eye exam this past Monday, and good news!! HE'S NOT BLIND...... He won't have to have another for 4 yrs now. He does have 2 hernia's in his groin that he'll need surgery on in 6 mths. They expect him to be discharged from the hospital on the 27th or 28th next week. My daughter will be staying in a motel up by the hospital until the 31st, then coming down home here and staying in a hotel here for about a day or so. She wants her family and friends, (within reason) to be able to see Adrian before they leave. YES, I said leave!! They're moving back to Nashville, TN between the 2nd and 4th of April. I'll be postponing my trip to MA this year and going to TN again to see my daughter, son in law, and grandson in June. I want to THANK EVERYONE FOR THE PRAYERS FOR ME, MY FAMILY, AND MY GRANDSON, Adrian. We Thank You from the Bottom of our Hearts!! I need to get going now, as my meds are making me pretty tired. I'll try to give you all another update on the baby and how we're doing as soon as I feel up to it...... Again, Thank You all for the Prayers and Friendship Much Love to you All God Bless, Jini
