I don't know if anyone else has become aware of what I consider a recent energy change but I'm noticing these days that my thoughts - even the brief, fleeting ones - are manifesting themselves rather quickly for me. Which makes me a wee bit nervous in that I don't want to place my focus "accidentally" on anything negative for fear of quickly attracting it to myself.
Friday morning I was doing my regular job of ringing out the grocerys of the customers coming through my line. One of my longtime friends, Faith, got in my line and I began chit chatting with her about her Easter plans. Seems her husband and daughter had left the day before for Florida to visit their son, daughter-in-law & 3 grandchildren but Faith was unable to get away from work so she remained home. She also hadn't been feeling good & felt very low in energy... sleeping a lot. I mentioned to her that I was staying home this Easter & having the big dinner at noon & that my children, grandchildren, ex-husband were coming and that she was more than welcome to join us if she wanted some company and good home cooking. She said she'd think about it & if she felt "ok" she would come over and we left it at that.
Later on that afternoon as I was still ringing out the endless orders of the masses moving through the store, I was mentally going over my menu for Easter dinner... trying to decide if I had everything and if I had enough too. I quickly moved my focus to the next customer in line and noticed one of the items I saw sitting on the conveyor belt was a six pack of deviled eggs. "YUMMMMM" I thought..."I hadn't had deviled eggs in ages & I love them!!!" But when I got to the product & looked at the price of $2.99 I convinced myself that they weren't worth purchasing & let it go.
When I got home from work at 7:45 p.m. that same evening, there was a message flashing on my answering machine so as I kicked off my shoes I pressed the "play" button and it was Faith. She said she had been thinking about my invitation to Easter dinner and the more she thought about it, the more she felt like accepting. She said she wanted to bring a dish to share so would it be ok if she brought some deviled eggs. HELLO!!!! lol
So . . . yeah . . . time to carefully watch what I am placing my focus on.
Love, Theresa

I've had a few "quickies" like that happen lately, but I don't have the same need to feel worried about it that you do. I just see it as a confimation that all is well, things will happen in their own time, and the Universe is sending me the quick and easy ones as kind of a "hug."
Enjoy those deviled eggs!

It's amazing what our thought process can do. Look at the price of eggs in Ohio, $2.99 for a dozen eggs? Wow and I was complaining about them being $1.89 here in TX! What a difference huh?
The more amazing thing is you were thinking they were too expensive, saw a friend, invited her for dinner, now SHE is bring the deviled eggs what you wanted in the first place!
The good karma you made by inviting your friend to dinner counteracted the negetive karma of thinking the price of eggs were too expensive. WOW!!

Could be something in the air. I have also had similar experiences. It does make me think we have more of a connection than meets the eye. I was also told it's a full moon.
Deviled eggs are SO yummy! I make them with finely chopped onions, bell peppers, and celery. I add some mayo, and the secret ingredient is Worstershire Sauce. A little salt; top with Paprika...voila!!!! Delish!
Now I want some deviled eggs.
