A friend of mine the other day..whilst talking on the phone, said.. "yes Im nearly 50, but Im still the same inside as I was 20 years ago.. its just my body thats aged."
I had to think about that.. was I still the same as I was 20 years ago?.. do I have the same stamina for life as I did then?..in some ways..yes..
It also got me to thinking that life itself with all its tragedies ..ups and downs..can actually steal some of our zeal for life.
But are we the same inside?.. under it all?.. despite the crap that life gives out.. responsibilities.. kids.. bills.. blah blah blah.. Or can life change us?
After all I still laugh at the same kind of humour.. I still love my fav foods.. but am I still me?..the me I was 20 years ago?
I guess Im in there........ somewhere.........

I'm still me, ....... only better. 
And, I finally know who I am. I think age lends us so much experience, that if
we choose to forge ahead in a positive light, we will. Life is all about choices and perception.

Hey Gf.  ......yes.........we are all the same but ...........with age comes wisdom........and lifes lessons we learn...  .......with tragedies and ups and downs...........but..........that is the way of life............learning ...........  and I wouldn't have it any other way............  I am still the little girl inside..........but...........with so much more now.......knowledge is a wonderful tool............. and as time goes by.........growing to who we are........makes us who we become..........

my sister and I were just talking about that today  she will be 50 in 11 days and I will be 48 next month. Yeah I still feel like I did 20 yrs ago inside  but OMG the body sure don't look or act like I did back then
