The hardest thing in the world I believe is to forgive someone who intentionally hurts you. But when we hang onto the pain and anger that someone causes us, it effects other aspects of our lives too. It effects our jobs, schooling, friends, family among other things. Hard to focus on those things when our minds are constantly thinking about who done us wrong.

Then there is the ones who want revenge, or punish the wrong doer. We want to hurt that person emotionally or physically. We say things to hurt that person. We hit that person. Or we plot things against that person. We sue that person. Why? Why put so much negative energy on this person? We only get to live once, why not make it a happy life as much as possible. Is getting revenge or hurting that person going to make things better or you happier? I doubt it. It might give you some temporary satisfaction, but you still won't be truly happy.

Free your heart. Fill it full of love. If someone does you wrong then feel sorry and pray for them that they have to live their life that way. If you fill your heart with love, then you go through life much happier and not worrying so much about the bad actions of the other people. You just overcome them.

Jesus teaches us to forgive. He said if we do not forgive others of their sins, then how can God forgive you for yours? The following passage is Mark 11:25-26

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

My way of thinking is this; Hate the act, love the person. Try it sometime and see if you don't end up feeling better about things. I know it won't be easy, it never is. But it is so much better then dwelling over it. You tell me who the happier person is, the forgiver or the angry one? I hope bloggers keep this in mind when they read certain blogs that make them upset or won't accept their comments. But you can he happy to know that I will accept your comment and I won't even charge you to post it.
