Nothing does a SOUL good like coming out of a 3 day sickness and thinking you were going to die. Thanks to a piece of UN-DONE CHICKEN I thought the world had ended and this was it and I was a gone-er . My poor cat didn,t know whether to run towards me or away from me for 3 days . She was a real trouper though it as she layed there letting me lay my head on her and she just purred away wishing me well.
Ya know I don,t think I would have made it through if it was not for her. There was a point I just did not care anymore , She would come over and lay across my arm as if to say COME ON MOM , WE CAN DO IT .
I know to some this sounds so sad and pathetic . But its only when you are brought to your knees by health problems that the tiniest things become so DARN IMPORTANT . Like a popsickle or Ginger ale things we take for granted everyday . Or the love of a cat or someone to be there. My kids all live far away and I was on my own through this except for STITCH .
I was so proud of her I told her I was gonna buy her a new friend like a parakeet or a ginea pig or something. But I better stick to a new toy.
The sun is shining and I took myself out for a walk and sat in the sun SO GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE TODAY .
